J. Patrick White is an associate at the Law Offices of Jeffrey J. Kroll, a personal injury law firm in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. White has experience in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including medical malpractice, transportation negligence and construction accidents. Mr. White was formerly an associate at Lavin Law Offices, P.C., a Chicago personal injury law firm. His mentor, Terrence J. Lavin, is now a justice on the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. Mr. White’s hard work and determination have been instrumental in obtaining settlements in excess of $1 million, including a $4.5 million settlement for a 34-year-old man who was rendered a paraplegic after undergoing an unnecessary surgery to remove an abdominal tumor; a $1.9 million settlement for the family of a 34-year-old mother of four who suffered a permanent neurological personal injury and later died from an infection that was left undiagnosed while recovering in the hospital after surgery; and a $1.1 million settlement for the family of a 68-year-old man who died after having an arrest caused by medication in his epidural catheter while being transferred to a different floor of the hospital. Mr. White was recently involved in a $750,000 settlement on behalf of the fiancée and child of a 23-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed by a semi-tractor trailer.

Mr. White graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in January 2007 and is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He attended law school while working full-time as a clerk for the Chicago firm of Corboy & Demetrio, P.C. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a degree in political science in 2001. Mr. White grew up in Evanston, Illinois , where he attended Evanston Township High School.
