Roberta P. Heintz recently joined the Law Offices of Jeffrey J. Kroll, where she has demonstrated outstanding legal skills. A knowledgeable and fearless litigator, she is accomplished in analyzing and articulating complex legal issues, personally interacting with clients, and tirelessly using her creativity efforts to resolve problems.

Before joining the personal injury law firm, Roberta served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County, Illinois, where she conducted numerous trials and hearings on behalf of victims. At the State’s Attorneys’ Office, she focused on the rights of children and families, spending countless hours in Cook County’s Juvenile Justice courtrooms. From there she concentrated in railroad litigation with a prominent Chicago defense firm, maintaining her interest in jury trials.

During law school, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Chief Judge Charles P. Kocoras, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. She also worked full–time as a law clerk at Clifford Law Offices, where she focused on complex medical negligence issues and other personal injury matters.

Roberta graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2004. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Hispanic Studies and International Relations. She has studied at the Universidad de Guanajuato, in Guanajuato, Mexico, and also participated in DePaul University College of Law’s study aboard program in Chiapas, Mexico. This experience has allowed Roberta to provide a comforting environment for our ever–growing Spanish–speaking clientele.

Roberta grew up in Melrose Park, Illinois, attended Immaculate Conception High School in , and presently resides with her husband and son in the northwest suburbs of Lake County, Illinois.
